Where This Started
I grew up hearing my grandmother talk about our Hawaiian cultural background, our family’s history, and the importance of how we communicate with others. One idea that always stayed with me is that communication goes beyond words — it lives in tone, context, respect, and relationships.
Through her experiences moving between Hawaii, the mainland United States, and Europe, she showed me that understanding people from different backgrounds requires adaptability and awareness, not just language.
That perspective has shaped how I see my own path, especially in my desire to travel, compete, and build connections across cultures. This page is not just a recruiting tool — it reflects my belief that being understood, and making the effort to understand others, is essential wherever I go.
